After a rigorous few months of searching, we’re delighted to announce our new 1st & 2nd team squad coach for the start of 2017/2018 will be Toby Clarke of Trojans Korfball Club.

Toby has over 15 years of korf experience under his belt across Cambridge Tigers, Croydon and now Trojans having been part of the team that won this years EKL final. In the past few years he has represented England U21s at the 2014 European Championship and GB Students at the 2015 University World Championship. As a coach he established the University of Brighton club in 2014, taking them to 4th place at BUCS Championship this year and winning Coach of the Year at the Brighton Uni Sports Awards.

He had the following to say: “I’m very excited to join a talented young team with lots of ambition and I’m looking forward to working and achieving a lot with them.”

We are really excited to see Toby continue the amazing development Steph has brought to Highbury over the past couple of years. Steph will still be running squad trials this year and hopefully returning later in the season following her maternity leave, as our 1st team seeks promotion to the National League and 2nd team to London Regional League 1.
